The citizens of the countries mentioned above in this section can apply for a tourist visa on arrival in India online, and they will receive the same online. If the visa is granted to them, then it gives the authority to the foreign nationals to enter India within 30 days from the date of TVoA. This visa is received in the form of an email by the tourist from the Indian authorities. This ETA will allow the tourist to stay for 30 days in India.

After the ETA scheme has been launched by the Indian Government, the foreign tourists of eligible countries can apply for Indian visa from their preferred country online from the comfort of their home. There is no need to visit the Indian Embassy to apply for Tourist Visa. The travelers just have to enter their travel details online on the official Indian e-visa website along with the required documents.
The supporting documents include their recent passport-sized photograph with a white background, meeting all the specifications, their visa application, and the photo page of the passport, having at least six months of validity, which also shows the personal details of the traveler.
