• Enter your PAN number and personal details, then submit the form to generate a token number.
• Select the document submission method (e-Sign or physical document submission).
• Fill in your personal details and choose either Photo Mismatch or Signature Mismatch, as required.
• Provide your address, contact details, and upload the necessary supporting documents.
• Upload a recent passport-size photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
• Pay the applicable PAN correction fee online.
• Review the application, save it, and print the acknowledgment form if required.

1. You need to download the application from the official Income Tax website.
2. Fill out the application form with all the required information.
3. Attach all the essential documents to your application at the nearest PAN center.
4. Tick the 'Photo Mismatch' option for the photo change in the PAN card.
5. Pay the fees for the PAN card photo update.
6. You will get an acknowledgment slip, which you need to submit at the Income Tax PAN Service unit of Protean e-Gov within 15 working days.

PAN Card Signature Change Online Process

The application process for PAN card signature update is the same as the PAN card photo change. Check out the steps given to change your signature on your PAN card.

• Visit the Protean PAN correction portal and click "Apply Now".
• Select "Changes or Correction in Existing PAN Data".
• Choose "Individual" as the applicant category.
• Enter your PAN number and personal details.
• Generate and save the token number.
• Select the document submission method.
• Provide Aadhaar and other personal information.
• Choose "Photo Mismatch" and/or "Signature Mismatch".
• Enter your address and contact details.
• Upload the required supporting documents.
• Pay the applicable PAN correction fee.
• Download and print the application form.

PAN Card Signature Update Offline Process

Here is the process given below to change your signature on the PAN card offline.

1. Download the application form from the official Income Tax website.
2. Fill out the application form with correct information and supporting documents.
3. Submit the application form at your nearest PAN center.
4. Tick on the signature Mismatch option for the photo change in the PAN card.
5. Pay the required fees for the PAN card signature change.
6. You will get an acknowledgment slip, which you need to submit at the Income Tax PAN service unit within 15 working days.

Documents Required to Change Photo and Signature in PAN Card

Proof of Address

• Aadhaar card
