What Happens if I Have Dual Citizenship and Apply for an OCI Card?

The Indian constitution does not permit dual citizenship so you cannot hold both Indian and foreign citizenship at the same time. However, you can apply for an OCI card if you fulfill the eligibility requirements for an OCI. You can apply for an OCI by providing an application to the Indian Mission or Post Office in the country where you are residing or are a citizen.
