What is Annexure C for Passport Applications?

It is a necessary declaration required in India when applying for a minor's passport. Under Section 5 of the Passports Act, 1967 and the Indian Passport Rules, 1980, Annexure C ensures that a single parent can provide consent for a minor's passport. The form can be used to explain why the other parent did not sign, including being overseas, a lack of cooperation, custody disputes or parental neglect. • Child Born out of Wedlock

If a child was born before the parents' marriage and is being raised by a single parent.
