Yes, the OCI cards can be canceled if the central government discovers that the card was acquired through fraud, false representation, or by hiding material facts. Also, if the cardholder shows disloyalty towards the Indian constitution, he/she unlawfully trades or communicates with an enemy during war, or has been sentenced to prison for at least two years within five years of registration.

I have again applied for an OCI card application for which I have paid a fee of US$275 which was paid through Demand Draft (DD).
Due to forgetting to attach some documents my OCI application was canceled and for this I have to again fill out a new form to Apply for an OCI card application.
My OCI card was canceled because I have been in criminal records which corrected my status so my OCI application was canceled.
My Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card has been rejected due to incorrect details filled in my application, so I again submitted a new OCI card application.
