How Long Are Passports Good For?

05 December, 2024 at 6:15 am

An ordinary Indian passport is valid for 10 years from the date of issue. A passport for a minor is valid for five years or until the minor turns 18 whichever happens first. Although, you need to renew your passport before its expiry date or as early as possible to keep it valid. You can apply for renewal a year before your current passport’s expiry.
