If your petition is stuck at “ case being actively reviewed by USCIS” for over 6 months it may be delayed due to a high number of applications, or missing any essential document, for this, you should actively check processing time and contact USCIS about the status of your application.

For my immigration petition, for permanent residency in the United States I have given a fee of $675 for the immigration petition. There is also another fee for the immigration petition for orphans which is $775.
I have filed an immigration petition for which I have submitted some related documents such as all the necessary documents, Birth certificate, Civil documents, Adoption certificate (if applicable), and Marriage certificate (if applicable).
My petition was actively reviewed by the USCIS for a long time which is outside of the normal processing time in the cases after which I submitted an inquiry for the long time processing for my case.
If your petition got stuck for over 6 months then you should wait for an update. You don’t need to take any action regarding this and it will soon be processed by the USCIS. This also happened with me so the main key is to be patient in this situation.
